Day 1: Florence
Arrival Arrive in beautiful Florence, Italy. After check in time to rest or explore before our welcome dinner.
Depending on your arrival time stop over at our bike shop for your custom bike rental fitting at Florence By Bike, Tuscany’s premier rental center. To view these professionally maintained rentals please visit www.florencebybike.com choose hybrid, road or mountain bike (men’s or women’s frame available). Or if you prefer a leisurely sight seeing stroll through town taking in this renaissance gem.
Florence is a shopper’s paradise so of course if shopping is more your thing, don’t hesitate to indulge yourself.
Rest up for tonight’s welcome dinner at one of Florence’s authentic and fun restaurants where the food and wine keeps on coming.

Day 2: Florence – San Vincenzo
Ready, Set, GO!
In the morning we all meet up at Florence by Bike for last minute fittings and to pick up any gear or clothing you may need. As our guest you are entitled to a discount on any purchases. FBB’s shop offers hard to find high-end technical gear and accessories at incredible prices.
We van transfer South East of Florence to ride along the Tuscan Coast with a quick stop in picturesque town of Bolgheri. Bolgheri is home to Italy’s premier wine growing region and we will stop for an after lunch tasting at one of the areas most notable vineyards. Check in to your seaside accommodations in the charming fishing port town of San Vincenzo.

Day 3: San Vincenzo - Elba
After breakfast a coastal ride along “Riva degli Etruschi” and a lunch stop in the amazing Populonia over looking the sea. After lunch we load onto the ferry at Piombino for an hour cruise arriving at Portoferraio on the island of Elba. Your hotel with pool and air conditioning is situated above one of Italy’s best white sand beach the cove of Fetovaia. After time to relax join us for a special dinner and after drinks on the beach.

Day 4: Elba
After breakfast a short transfer to the town of Porto Azzurro for the perfect first day ride on the island we pass through Rio Marina with time to explore the mineral caves then on to Cavo for lunch. After lunch tackle the short but challenging climb into Rio Nell Elba for incredible views of the coast. Our tour ends in with time for a “gelato” break.
Take the afternoon to explore or just chill out on the beach and do nothing.
Dinner on your own at the hotel or join your guide at one of the nearby authentic fresh fish restaurants.

Day 5: Elba
Today we tackle the heart of the island with one featured climb of about 500 meters above seal level. Descend into the Marina di Campo for lunch and free time to explore. Back on bikes we ride back to our hotel for free time or an optional shuttle to the Napoleon villa (Did you know Napoleon was exiled on Elba and judging form his perfectly restored villa he did so in style!) Tonight dinner at the hotel or we shuttle you to the bustling port town of Portoferraio for a fun night out.

Day 6:
Elba
This is the one you have been waiting for one of our best rides in Tuscany. The "Costa del Sole" coastal ridge route three hundred meters above the sparking blue Mediterranean Sea. We head "clockwise" along the coast stopping at Marciana Alto and descending through thick forests into the port town of Marciana Marina.
After lunch it is time to catch our ferry back to Florence for check in and prepare for our farewell celebration dinner.
