Luxury Wine & Cheese Tasting
Best Tuscan Tours, LLC and Vitae s.r.l have decided to combine a world class day of wine & gourmet cheese tasting in the heart of the legendary Brunello & Vino Nobile growing areas.
This private guided luxury tour includes tastings in Montalcino, Pienza (cheese), the crown jewels of Tuscany. In addition to the younger Rosso di Montalcino’s included in this tour is a tasting of the best vintage Brunello’s from top producers which are opened 24 hours in anticipation of your arrival.
Private transfer to Pienza for a brief, informative demonstration of the art of cheese making and of course tasting. With all the focus on wine most guests are surprised is to discover Pienza is known though out Italy as one of the top makers of Pecorino “sheep cheese”.
Then onto a private lunch where you taste some of the top vintages of our special Montalcino producers.
This stop is available exclusively to Best Tuscan Tours guests through our collaboration with Enoteca Vitae. Wine can be purchased and expertly shipped directly to your home.

Itinerary
* 9 A.M. pick up your Florence or Siena based lodgings;
* Private transfer to to Pienza for cheese tasting;
* Onto Montalcino for private lunch followed by tour and vintage tasting at one of the top Brunello producers;
* Return transfer Florence or Siena lodgings approximately 6 P.M.
